工作职责:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing anaccount portfolio with the aim to generate and maximise hotel revenue andmarket share. Key to this role is building relationships and developing networkswithin the accounts assigned by the Sales Research Team in order to increase revenueand conversion. Where applicable, this role will also involve the managementand coaching of a team of Business Development Executives and Business DevelopmentCoordinators.
Validate of the potential ofassigned accounts and create account plansas per the IHG hotels BusinessDevelopment standard operating procedures
· Develop the assigned accountportfolio tomeet set goals and maximise profitability
· Gather information oncurrent andprospective clients / contacts to generate incremental business
· Maintain effective control ofsalesexpenses
· Use both account interactionand publiclyavailable tools to monitor competitors‘ activities as it relatesto both thehotel and the portfolio of accounts and share relevant informationwith keystakeholders in line with hotel procedures
· Provide feedback to managementon changingmarket conditions, including competition and market trends
· Involve Director of Sales whereappropriateon sales calls and sales meetings
· Communicate to his/her superiorany issuesencountered and other relevant information
· Attend and participate in andwhereappropriate, organise training sessions, daily briefings and othermeetings asrequired
· Where applicable, supervise, manageandtrain Business Development Executives and Business Development Coordinatorsincarrying out their responsibilities

Requirement:
Degreeor Diploma in Marketing, Business or Hospitality Management desired, and 5 years of relevant Sales experience in Hospitality or a related serviceindustry.
