What you will do
Implements all catering and events sales action plans related to the respective catering market segment and as outlined in the Marketing Plan.

Actively participates in achieving the departmental goals, which contribute to the Marketing budget.

Solicit and book all types of catering business from various sources of leads.

Respond to all telephone and walk in inquiries regarding catering space.

Maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all personal sales calls.

Coordinate the sales efforts between sales department and catering to insure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenues.

Follow through the event management flow process until departure of key repeated accounts.

Communicate last minute event details to all operational departments concerned for their own productivity and achievement of guest satisfaction.

Responsible to ensure that the dissemination of groups related information to the related departments.

Review bills with organizers regularly so as eliminate any adjustments on final invoice.

Verifies charges and layout of in voice prepared by Accounts Receivable or Front Office before sending invoice to clients.

Attend the pre-event meeting and post-event meeting as required.

Continue to maintain close relationship with existing clients while building relationship with new clienteles.

What you bring
Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company.

Min. 2 –3 years’ experience in hotel Conference sales.
