THE TEAM
You will join the Mei Bar team, as a key member of the outlet leadership team, reporting directly to the Director of Mei Bar and working closely with team leaders, bartenders, service associates, hosts, and entertainment partners to deliver seamless and memorable guest experiences. In joint efforts making Mei Bar a dynamic nightlife destination focused on elevated service, entertainment, and guest engagement.
YOUR ROLE
As Assistant Manager of Mei Bar, you will support the Director of Mei Bar in overseeing all aspects of Mei Bar’s daily operations, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, team leadership, and revenue growth. You will play an active, highly visible role on the floor, building meaningful relationships with guests, developing a strong customer database, and driving repeat business through engagement and promotions. Working closely with internal teams, performers, and key clientele, you will help ensure Mei Bar consistently exceeds guest expectations and delivers on Rosewood’s service standards.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Support the Director of Mei Bar in supervising Mei Bar operations to ensure service excellence and compliance with hotel standards
- Lead guest engagement by welcoming VIPs, regulars, and walk-in guests, building strong relationships and loyalty
- Grow, manage, and maintain guest databases and digital platforms, including WeChat and Facebook
- Coordinate reservations, table bookings, and nightly briefings to ensure smooth evening operations
- Drive sales through proactive guest outreach, high-spender engagement, and table optimization
- Act as a role model on the floor, fostering strong team relationships and a positive, performance-driven culture
COULD THIS BE YOU?
- You have at least 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a bar, nightclub, or hotel F&B environment
- You enjoy being guest-facing and thrive in a fast-paced nightlife or entertainment setting
- You are confident engaging VIPs, regular guests, and high-spending clientele
- You are organized and attentive to detail, with experience managing reservations and guest information
- You are comfortable using digital and social media platforms to engage guests and promote events
- You demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality
