THE TEAM
You will be part of the Sales & Marketing division, working closely with the Director of Events and the Events Sales team. This collaborative team partners with multiple hotel departments to deliver seamless event experiences and drive business success through strong coordination and communication.
YOUR ROLE
As an Event Sales Assistant, you will support the Director of Events and the wider sales team in delivering efficient and high-quality event sales operations. You will play an integral role in managing administrative processes, supporting sales activities, and ensuring smooth communication across departments to contribute to successful event execution and guest satisfaction.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
-Provide professional and courteous handling of incoming telephone calls and general inquirie support the Director of Events and sales managers with system tasks, contracts, proposals, and administrative duties
-Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely communication of event details, including event orders and BEOs
-Assist in managing sales leads and support the evaluation of event bookings to optimize space and commercial outcomes
-Maintain and develop the guest database to support future business opportunities and repeat clientele
-Conduct tele-marketing activities and market research to identify and generate new business leads
COULD THIS BE YOU?
-You are confident using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and relevant sales or front office systems
-You have strong communication skills in both Mandarin and English, written and spoken
-You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working collaboratively with others
-You show attention to detail and the ability to manage administrative responsibilities effectively
-You are proactive, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
-You have an understanding of the hospitality market and are motivated to contribute to sales growth
