Strategically drives profitable revenue – all segments - and market share growth with assigned existing and new account portfolio for selected RHG hotel portfolio
Creates a consultative selling approach to maximize commercial opportunity for RHG global
Ensuring outound business all segments
Supports to execute the RHG sales strategy in line with hotel needs with clear action plan for both, online and offline business potential
Demonstrates a growth in production revenues and market share with account base, focused on total profitable revenue
Execute tactical action plans for new opening hotels and/or focus hotels on a short- as well as on a long-term
Actively targets new business opportunities on a continual basis
Ensures regular communication with clients to deliver key messages and support the hotel as/when required and acts as an ambassador between hotels and clients becoming an acknowledged expert on market and customer issues within the territory of Radisson
Responsible for organization and execution of agreed activity plan, such as but not limited to fairs, events, workshops, telemarketing
Develops knowledge of each account, its pipeline, supplier management and strategic focus
Stays up to date concerning industry trends, news, competitor activities and updates the team accordingly
Work alongside the 3rd Party Intermediary (TMC-PCO) where appropriate to ensure account development is properly implemented at all levels
Research, identify and establish new business sales contacts, develop relationships and revenue opportunities from existing clients
Execute focused strategies for account development in order to penetrate accounts and communicate to all internal stakeholders, leveraging collaboration and work from analytics team
Works actively with RHG selected system such as but not limited to SAP C4C, Pulse, Hotelligence, Lanyon, CVENT, salespresenter
Managing the end to end Transient RFP negotiation with full ownership and responsibility
Works with and shares information on all aspects of accounts portfolio and market with relevant team members of Revenue Generation Team
Assists immediate superior in all reasonable ways and regularly contributes to overall area Corporate and Meeting & Events strategy
Participate in key travel industry trade shows
Delivery of the the sales performance objectives
Organize and perform client activities such as Fam Trip, Sales Trips, fairs & shows presentation, site inspections with one voice towards the customers relating back to strategic industries, segments & type of business
Support to assist handling enquiries and follow up on leads where applicable to drive conversion.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive sales leadership experience within the international hospitality industry.
Experience with multi-property, cluster or regional sales leadership position is an advantage
Previous experience with an international hotel operator is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management and commercial strategy.
Proven success in driving revenue growth across Corporate, MICE, Leisure, Wholesale, Government and Airline segments.
Experience supporting new hotel openings and commercial ramp-up strategies is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute country-wide sales strategies that maximize revenue, RevPAR, market share and profitability.
Strong track record in key account management and strategic business development.
Experience managing inbound and outbound business opportunities across multiple hotels.
Sound knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing strategies and distribution channels.
Ability to interpret market intelligence, competitive analysis and sales performance metrics to identify growth opportunities.
