Duties
- Execute strategic events sales plans to achieve revenue targets,including identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding the hotel’s banquet customer base.
- Handle client inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, resolving issues to maintain high client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients, ensuring compliance with hotel policies while maximizing profitability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments (such as catering and housekeeping etc.) to ensure seamless event execution, from planning to post-event follow-up.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the local market.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in Event sales within a luxury hotel or high-end event venue, with at least 1 year in a manager role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets,driving revenue growth, and building long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and senior management.
- In-depth knowledge of banquet operations, event planning, catering services, and industry standards; familiarity with event management software is preferred.
- Passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends,and holidays as required by event schedules.
