Duties
- Assist the superior leaders in implementing sales strategies,identifying potential clients, and following up on leads to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Conduct site visits with clients to showcase banquet facilities,explain service capabilities, and address any questions or concerns.
- Support the execution of events by liaising with internal departments to confirm logistics, resolve on-site issues, and ensure events run smoothly.
- Collaborate with the sales team to plan and execute promotional activities, such as client appreciation events, or industry networking functions.
- Uphold the hotel’s brand standards and service values, ensuring every client interaction reflects professionalism and excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Events sales or a related role within the hospitality industry.
- Solid understanding of banquet operations, event planning processes, and catering services; exposure to sales techniques and client relationship management is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear proposals, contracts, and event orders.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- Customer-oriented attitude, with a willingness to go above and beyond to meet client needs.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event
schedules.
