We are currently looking for a Director of Rooms to join our team.
As a Director of Rooms, we rely on you to:
• The Director of Rooms is responsible for providing supervision, leadership and direction to ensure the efficient, effective and profitable operation of all departments that come under the supervision of the Hotel’s Rooms Division.
• Collates and analyses forecast from Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry and areas under Rooms Division.
• Identifies staff training requirements and service improvements areas.
• Develops and implements guest recognition program.
• Conducts daily and monthly meetings to highlight areas of improvement in the service aspects and obtain feedback.
• Creates a positive and highly motivated working environment that promotes and develops teamwork.
• Ensures that there are proper service standards in all areas of Rooms Division.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a passion for Rooms
• Excellent presenter and communicator
• Is self-driven, goal-oriented, able to challenge the status quo
• Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times
• Enjoys crafting creative and best-fit solutions
• Thinks outside of the box whilst leading change in the hotel
• Preferably has a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a similar role
• Understands the global market and local environment
• Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
• Has strong interpersonal skills
