We are currently looking for a Director of Sales and Marketing to join our S&M team.
As a Director of Sales and Marketing, we rely on you to:
1. Market Planning
Develop and implement the Marketing Plan, Events Management Process Manual, and Reservations ManualMaintain awareness of current and future competitor's product, pricing and Marketing programs so as to proactively respond to market conditionsEstablishes and maintains accurate forecasting procedureEstablishes priorities and objectives for all Sales and Marketing programs, monitoring functions and adjusting resources as deemed necessary so as to develop marketing leadership and optimal productivityImplement Marketing policies and procedures of the hotel and of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts
2. Sales Functions
Stays current with the needs of the market, competitive initiatives and the effectiveness of our programs such as SLC, Value Rate, etc. through regular involvement with key accountsPersonally handles key accounts in each of the hotel's major contributing market segmentsActively gets involved with sales solicitation of major accountsAssist the members of the Sales team and other departments in securing business for all revenue generating centersConducts monthly account reviews with the sales team
We are looking for someone who:
Well organized and good at follow-upGood communication & interpersonal skillsNegotiation skillLeadershipRelevant work experience is preferredFluent English and Mandarin
